Hispanic Heritage Bellevue Celebration on September 29
With Hispanic Heritage Month in mind, from September 15 to October 15, the Hispanic Arts Center of Omaha and Bellevue University invite the community to join the event to honor the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced our nation on September 29.
The program will feature lunch and a conversation with one of the many influential Hispanic Americans in our region, Javier Fernández, President and CEO of OPPD.
Throughout his career, Fernández has held various executive positions in companies throughout the country. He is currently a board member of the ranks of the Kansas City Federal Reserve, Omaha Branch, Bellevue University, the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, and Habitat for Humanity Omaha. His participation will guide us through an inspirational overview of the adventure of developing and standing out from your goals and hard work that has gotten you to where you are.
Next Thursday, September 29, at the main campus of Bellevue University, Administrative Services Building will cost $25.00 for the general public and $10.00 with a student ID. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will end at 1 p.m. Also, the Hispanic Arts Center of Omaha will stand out at the end of the ceremony with an act of entertainment in the Nebraska state folkloric dance style.
