New Stage Players’ Remarkable Latin American Expedition

South Sioux City, NE. On June 26, New Stage Players held an extraordinary event that transported attendees on a vibrant cultural journey through Latin America. This day camp, known as Vuelo 3201, offered a unique opportunity to explore the richness and diversity of this fascinating region.

Attendees began their experience with an exciting flight simulation to Latin America in the theater’s main hall. “Pilot Álvaro” and the flight attendants guided guests through a virtual immersion, creating an authentic and thrilling atmosphere.

During the event, participants learned about the festive traditions of Mexico, Cuba, and Colombia. Activities included crafts and typical songs, and each theater room was transformed to represent one of these countries, providing an immersive and educational environment.

Children participated in popular games from each country, allowing them to experience firsthand the playful traditions of Latin America. Additionally, they enjoyed delicious traditional snacks like horchata water and fruit with Tajín, expanding their cultural experience.

The day culminated with a special performance at 4:30 p.m., where the children presented group songs and shared their learnings about the explored countries with their parents. This presentation was the crowning moment of a day filled with discoveries and fun.
