In an interview with Mundo Latino, Marta Sonia Londoño Mejía, a prominent figure in the community, highlights the importance of this event: “It is a great opportunity to take advantage of all the tools the state has for our Hispanic community. It is important to be informed and seek the opportunities that this country has to be successful.” Additionally, Londoño Mejía emphasizes that the community will be able to learn how to obtain grants that the state offers to start their businesses. At the Omaha conference, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with community leaders who have achieved success through discipline, effort, and perseverance.

The event will feature raffles, souvenirs from the businesses present, food, prizes, and recognitions for community members who have made a significant impact through their ventures. These awards celebrate each of them’s progress and achievements, highlighting their contribution to the economic and social development of the community.
