I have always carried out my work with great love for our community.” Valenzuela arrived in Omaha in 2009 from Los Angeles, California, and has worked with various nonprofit organizations, giving her extensive experience in community service.
Her charisma and bilingual abilities led her to work with organizations like Girl Scout Spirit and One World Community Health Center, where she focused on integrating the Hispanic community and providing patient care. Her journey led her to become more deeply involved with the Omaha community, especially the Hispanic population, eventually taking on the role of Community Relations Coordinator at the Omaha Mayor’s Office. During her time with the city, Valenzuela was dedicated to informing the Latino community about available resources and programs and worked tirelessly to create a more inclusive and connected community. Her work has been fundamental to the growth and integration of the Hispanic community in Omaha, and her departure leaves a legacy of commitment and service.
