Tragic Crash in Grand Prairie Texas
A tragic crash in Grand Prairie, Texas, claimed the lives of four members of the Rosales family and left a teenager hospitalized. Police attribute the crash to street racing involving two Dodge Chargers. The victims were identified as parents Jessie and Lorena Rosales, along with their children, 6-year-old Angel and 13-year-old Stephanie. A third child, 16-year-old Anthony, survived but sustained serious injuries.
The crash occurred when the Rosales family was turning onto a side street, and one of the racing Chargers collided with their car at high speed, causing it to flip and catch fire. Witness Yvette Acosta captured video of the burning vehicle and described the scene as devastating, haunted by the screams from the car.
Police have arrested one suspect, 22-year-old Anthony Morales, while the other, 20-year-old Jaime Mesa, remains hospitalized but faces charges of manslaughter and racing causing death and injury. A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral and medical expenses, raising over $20,000 so far.
Street racing on Beltline Road is a common issue, and Acosta hopes this tragedy will lead to preventive measures.
