Palmer Candy Company recalls its White Coated Confectionary Items
Palmer Candy Company, Sioux City, Iowa, is recalling its “White Coated Confectionary Items” due to potential Salmonella contamination. Salmonella can cause serious infections, especially in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. The recalled items were distributed nationwide in stores like Walmart, HyVee, Target, and Dollar General, as well as in several states.
