Posponen el Festival del Cinco de Mayo en Omaha; 10 al 12 de Julio, 2020 (English & Spanish)

Omaha, NE. Organizadores del Festival Cinco de Mayo en Omaha anunciaron hoy lunes 30 de Marzo que el evento ha sido pospuesto debido a la crisis del Coronavirus COVID 19 que ha afectado nuestras comunidades de gran manera. Unidos al esfuerzo para detener la propagación el comité eligió las fechas Julio 10 al 12.
A continuación el comunicado:
En las últimas semanas, todos hemos estado aprendiendo sobre el coronavirus (COVID-19) y cómo nos está afectando en todo el mundo. Al igual que usted, nosotros, aquí en el Cinco de Mayo Omaha (CDMO), estamos profundamente preocupados y queremos hacer lo que podamos para ayudar a mantener a nuestras comunidades y familias seguras y saludables.
Por esta razón, CDMO y su celebración de 100 años continuarán monitoreando de cerca la situación. Al seguir las pautas de los Centros para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades (CDC) y el Departamento de Salud del Condado de Douglas, estamos ajustando nuestras acciones y políticas según sea necesario para ayudar a prevenir la propagación del virus, con eso en mente, CDMO ha reprogramado su evento para 10-12 de julio de 2020.

Omaha, NE. Cinco de Mayo Festival in Omaha organizers announced today that the event has been postponed due to the crisis of the Coronavirus COVID 19 that has affected our communities in a great way. Together with the effort to stop the spread, the committee chose the dates July 10 to 12.
Here is the statement:
Over the past few weeks, we have all been learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it’s impacting us worldwide. Like you, we — here at Cinco de Mayo Omaha (CDMO) — are deeply concerned and want to do what we can to help keep our communities and families safe and healthy.
For this reason, CDMO and its 100-year celebration will continue to closely monitor the situation. In following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Douglas County Health Department, we are adjusting our actions and policies as necessary to help prevent the spread of the virus—with that in mind, CDMO has rescheduled its event to July 10-12, 2020.
