The support that comes from the IME-Becas program, intends to promote the education of the Mexican community that wishes to excel and take advantage of continuing their studies.
Since 2005, IME-Becas has been characterized by close collaboration ties with hundreds of important organizations and educational institutions interested in meeting the training needs of Mexicans in the United States, by at least doubling the funds allocated by the Government. of Mexico, with the firm commitment to support our nationals to start, continue or finish their studies in this country.
With the intention of ensuring the transparency of this initiative, each consulate has carried out the formation of its Local Committee, which is made up of 3 or more people immersed in the educational field and close to the needs of the Mexican community, who establish the selection criteria of organizations and educational institutions interested in participating.
