OneWorld’s Countdown to Cinco de Mayo celebration to benefit prenatal patients

It’s nacho ordinary fiesta! OneWorld Community Health Centers’ Countdown to Cinco de Mayo celebration will take place on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in the northeast parking lot of the historic Livestock Exchange Building (4920 S. 30th St.).

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will last until 9:30 p.m. We will celebrate with live music, food from local restaurants and drinks.

All proceeds from the event will benefit OneWorld’s Baby Boutique, an incentive program that encourages women to seek early and consistent prenatal care by providing them with baby essentials that they may not be able to afford.

Tickets for the event are $30, which covers one drink ticket, food and live entertainment. This year, the ticket price for young professionals is $20. As in previous years, attendees are encouraged to donate new items to the Baby Boutique in exchange for an additional complimentary drink ticket.
