Fiestas Omaha prepares for its annual celebration “Las Posadas”, in a unique experience of Community, Culture, and Family


Omaha, NE — Omaha is preparing to immerse itself in an unparalleled cultural celebration, Las Posadas! Join the Fiestas Omaha team to enjoy delicious food, drinks, music, and networking while celebrating the Community, Culture, and Family. Expand your network at a fun-filled holiday gathering.

The event will take place on December 8, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Elevator Co-Warehousing + Community, located at 1402 Jones St, Omaha, NE 68102. The evening, hosted by Casa de la Cultura, promises an experience of flavors, rhythms, and connections. Joined by host partners, including the Latino Economic Development Council, the Barrientos Scholarship Foundation, the Metro Young Latino Professionals Association, and the United Hispanic Contractors Association, who will explore the riches of the Latino community.

Additionally, college students can register for free admission to the event by emailing fcolchado@cdmomaha.com. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to participate in the drawing for a $500 scholarship, which will be presented that same night. They only need to carry their university ID with them.

Las Posadas is an annual festival celebrated in Mexico and other Latin American countries. Traditionally, one of the main events consists of visiting neighbors and asking for a “posada”, a place to rest, through songs. It’s a time to come together, connect and enjoy. Casa de la Cultura offers a unique perspective on this traditional cultural experience, allowing you to expand your network.

The $25 entry fee will include food, cocktails, and entertainment, ensuring a vibrant and cultural evening of celebration. They are waiting for you to share this unique experience in Omaha!
