Emmanuel Sáenz: Hispanic Pride at the International Mariachi and Charrería Encounter


Emmanuel Sáenz, a prominent talent from the Hispanic community in Omaha, recently performed at the prestigious International Mariachi and Charrería Encounter “La Voz del Encuentro” held in Guadalajara, Jalisco, last July. This event, which brings together the best exponents of mariachi and charrería, is a showcase of the rich Mexican culture and tradition.

The Mexican Academy of Mariachi El Charro de Guadalajara used social media to express their gratitude to all the participants. Emmanuel will return to the ring at the end of this month of August to compete against the best selected participants, in search of a place in the final. In an exclusive interview for Mundo Latino, Emmanuel Sáenz shared his feelings about this unique experience. “Being part of the 8 semi-finalists who will be in the 31st edition of the Mariachi meeting is an achievement, a pride. It is exciting to be part of this and to put the name of Mexico very high,” he said excitedly.
