Adriana Chávez vino a Midlands Latino Community Development Corporation (MLCDC) después de enterarse de la existencia de su programa de guarderías en el año 2010. Después de terminar el curso solicitó de manera inmediata por una licencia de guardería en casa tipo 1 con la ayuda de un especialista en guarderías del MLCDC.
Solesitos Daycare inició su operación en Mayo del 2010. Luego los propietarios de la guardería vinieron al MLCDC con el sueño de iniciar un Centro Educativo de Niños (Childcare Center). Después de comprar un edificio y seguir en complejo proceso para obtener este tipo de licencia Solesitos Daycare Inc. abrió sus puertas en Octubre del 2014.
La alta calidad en la prestación de sus servicios y el uso creativo de los espacios han sido claves en el éxito de este centro educativo. Solesitos Daycare Inc. llenó la capacidad que tenía de 60 niños, por esta razón vino a MLCDC con un proyecto para expandir la guardería para educar y cuidar 30 niños adicionales. Este proyecto de expansión permitirá a Solesitos Daycare Inc. incrementar su personal de 14 a 19 . MLCDC le aprobó a la guardería un crédito de $15,000.00 a través de su Sistema de Crédito Directo para complementar los ingresos que tenían ahorrados los propietarios para implementar su proyecto de expansión.
Los Solesitos Daycare Inc. ofrece educación multicultural y entrenamiento bilingüe en Inglés y Español. Además el centro educativo trabaja arduamente en inculcar y desarrollar valores en los niños desde muy temprana edad. La visión futura de Solesitos es llegar a ser un centro educativo reconocido por su trato personalizado y un lugar seguro, amado y respetado por los niños usuarios del servicio. Propietarios de Solesitos Daycare Inc. visualizan 4 centros educativos en el estado de Nebraska proporcionando educación multicultural y soporte emocional a los niños.

Explosive Growth of Latino businesses in the greater Omaha area
Childcare Center educating 90 children and hiring 19 employees
Adriana Chavez came to MLCDC in 2010 after hearing about the childcare development program. She finished the course and immediately applied for a Home childcare license with the help of the Childcare Development Specialist at MLCDC.
Los Solesitos began operations in May of 2010 as a family 1 childcare In June of 2012. Owners of the business came to MLCDC with the dream of opening a Childcare Center. After purchasing a building and going through the long and complicated licensing process they were able to open Los Solesitos Daycare Inc. in October of 2014.
The high quality services and creative use of the facility were key to their success. Within months Los Solesitos had reached their capacity and were looking for other ways to grow. In July 2016 owners of Solesitos came back to MLCDC to request a loan to expand their facility and increase the capacity by 30 more children. They were approved for a $15,000 loan through MLCDC’s Direct Lending Program to expand their business. This childcare center is hiring additional 5 employees in this project expansion.
Los Solesitos Daycare Inc. offers bilingual English and Spanish, multicultural training and activities for children aimed at improving their values and development at an early age. The vision for Solesitos is to become a recognized Childcare Center for its personalized care of their children in a safe, respectful and lovely place. Adriana and Maria Elena envision 4 more Childcare Centers in Nebraska providing children with multicultural education and emotional support at affordable prices.
