OMAHA, Neb. — Pesek Law is proud to announce that Ross Pesek, CEO of Pesek Law has been honored with induction into the prestigious Millard South Hall of Fame

This recognition distinguishes individuals who embody the high standards and notable achievements that represent the educational institution’s community.

A 2003 graduate of Millard South, Ross has excelled in both the legal field and community service. As a bilingual attorney and co-founder of Pesek Law with his wife, Karen, Ross has not only earned individual recognition but has also shed a positive light on his alma mater. “Being recognized by my high school, despite my foolish youth, is humbling and rewarding. It means a lot to know that the community that raised me and corrected me many times sees that I have become what they always told me I could be. I will continue to work to make Millard South proud,” Pesek said.

Heidi Weaver, Millard South Principal, commented, “Our Millard South Hall of Fame is designed to honor those who have honored the legacy of our school. Ross is a great example for our students and a pillar in the community. “We are thrilled to see him leading the way into the future for South Omaha.”

Founded in 2014, Pesek Law stands as Nebraska’s first fully bilingual law firm, reflecting Ross Pesek’s commitment to justice, especially for Spanish-speaking immigrants. The Peseks’ dedication to this cause is evidenced by the establishment of a free legal clinic in 2011 and numerous civil jury verdict victories for immigrants.

Beyond the courthouse, Ross currently co-chairs the South Omaha Business Improvement District, alongside Karen, his wife. The couple also founded the True Potential Scholarship, a vital effort that has provided more than 100 full-tuition scholarships to DACA recipients and other immigrants to attend community colleges in Nebraska and Iowa.

Recognized by the Nebraska Bar Association as a Young Lawyer, Ross stands out and received several prestigious awards. His career is a testament to his dedication to the immigrant community and restorative justice.
