Margarita “Maggie” Rangel falleció el sábado 10 de diciembre. Nació el 19 de febrero de 1987 en Río Bravo, Tamaulipas México.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el lunes 19 de diciembre de 2022 en Waterbury Funeral home en Sioux City, IA. de 4 pm a 5 pm, Rosario a las 17 horas y después un tiempo para compartir. Los servicios funerarios serán el martes 20 de diciembre a las 10 a. m. en la iglesia St. Michaels en South Sioux City, NE.

Maggie tenía solo 11 años cuando se mudó a Sioux City, IA, donde asistió a Woodrow Wilson Middle School y North High School.

A Maggie le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Le encantaba bailar y pasar un buen rato. Tenía una pasión por cuidar a las personas. Trabajó en la casa de retiro Holy Cross y en Prime Living antes de convertirse en cuidadora de tiempo completo de su madre, que padecía la enfermedad de Lou Gehrig. Después de que su madre falleciera, Maggie trabajó para Seaboard Triumph Foods, donde fue ascendida a supervisora de capacitación. Estaba muy orgullosa de sus promociones, al igual que su familia y amigos.

Maggie siempre puso a sus hijos antes que a sí misma. Amaba a sus hijos con todo su corazón y constantemente les decía a sus hijos que eran todo su mundo. La sonrisa de Maggie iluminaba una habitación. Ella siempre estaba haciendo reír a la gente. La extrañaremos mucho.

Fue amada y querida por muchos.
Los que quedan para honrar a Maggie son sus 3 hijos, Luciana, Anthony Miguel. Su hermana Irán (Jaime), los hermanos Armando, Julián, Frank (Lacy), José y Juan. Varias sobrinas y sobrinos.

Le preceden en muerte su madre Antonia, su padre Juan y su sobrino Jesús.

Descanse en Paz.

Obituary

Margarita de Fatima Rangel Cuellar

Margarita “Maggie” Rangel passed away Saturday, December 10th. She was born on February 19th, 1987 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas Mexico. 

Visitation will be held Monday, December 19th, 2022 at Waterbury Funeral home in Sioux City, IA. from 4 pm to 5 pm, Rosary at 5 pm, and a time to share following. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 20th at 10 am at St, Michaels Church in South Sioux City, NE. 

Maggie was just 11 years old when she moved to Sioux City, IA where she attended Woodrow Wilson Middle School and North High School. 

Maggie loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to dance and have a good time. She had a passion for taking care of people. She was employed at Holy Cross Retirement home and Prime living before becoming a full-time caregiver for her mother who suffered from Lou Gehrig’s disease. After her mother’s passing Maggie worked for Seaboard Triumph Foods, where she was promoted to training supervisor. She was so proud of her promotions, as were her family and friends. 

Maggie always put her children before herself. She loved her children with all her heart and would constantly tell her children they were her whole world. Maggie’s smile would light up a room. She was always making people laugh.   She will greatly be missed. 

She was loved and cherished by many. 

Those left to honor Maggie are her 3 children, Luciana, and Anthony Miguel. Her Sister Iran (Jaime), brothers Armando, Julian, Frank (Lacy), Jose, and Juan. Several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her mother Antonia, her father Juan, and her nephew Jesus.
